"Those who are truly interested in education and teach youngsters, get it straightaway without need for any debate. The Alphasax is going very well!"

Various comments from John Berreen – Kent (UK) sax teacher
The Alphasax is fantastic! The keys are all in the right place and the pointless keys, only suitable for the higher grades have been removed.  There is no beginner’s music written that uses the high and low notes anyway so they are hardly, if ever, used!

(He held it in the palm of his hand and was amazed at the weight)

“Kids all complain about hurting necks and moan about the weight of standard saxophones”

“The simple system for Sax

Best advancement

Kid friendly”

“at last the sax comes of age”  or  “at last the sax comes to all ages”

“Finally accessible to everyone, now easier than the curved soprano or Lyons Clarinet as starter”

Initially I was skeptical when I opened the case and saw the Alphasax.  However on playing the instrument and then understanding why it has been done, I believe it to be a truly fantastic opportunity for music education.  It opens new doors for the younger or smaller players who want to play a saxophone…not a flute or clarinet!

What a fantastic idea!  The alphasax is still an alto sax but has been designed for just the students I am turning away because they are too small!

A great new alto sax for younger players!

"I'll take one now and expect an order for 5 - 10 more. It's exactly what my younger students need!" - on visiting sax.co.uk in Denmark Street, London

David Hosker - Sax Teacher, Sweden

"I loved it as soon as I saw it...my son is only 9 years old but he has taken to the instrument really quickly.  The Alphasax is much better to begin your sax life with as it is like playing an normal alto saxophone.  Better than having to start on the clarinet or curved soprano sax!.

I brought one of these for my 10 year old daughter as a birthday present.  She is small for her age but has no problem at with the weight or the finger positioning.  We found her a teacher straight away who was amazed that she could use the the standard tutor books and learn alongside her bigger classmates.  The only request is can you make one in black.....or preferably 'pink'?"

Petre Skosca - Norway

Really love the instrument and it makes teaching younger players much easier now!  I used to have to start them on curved soprano sax and teach them in a group by themsleves.  Now the new players can start in a group playing the same tutor book with older people playing the usual style alto!  Great!!

Saw this instrument on the Internet and brought one 'blind' for my daughter.  Just to say that I had found her a possible sax teacher however she was sceptical about the Alphasax.  How wrong scepticism is when you haven't yet seen one as  Mary's teacher absolutely loves it!  My only recommendation to other parents is that if their new teacher for their child hasn't yet seen one, then ask them to try one first!
